For a date night in Jacksonville, you can grab dinner and a movie, grab a drink at a bar near the beach, head to Top Golf or a bowling alley.... OR if you're a little more daring you could venture to Autobahn Indoor Speedway. It's kind of in a random location, tucked back with little signage, but once you get inside it's a cool little place.
I totally thought this was like such a guy thing to do with the boys, but JC and I went last week and it's actually a really cool place and there were a bunch of couples enjoying their date night as well. Basically, it's like go-carting indoors, but at a really fast speed. They have two different race tracks you can try and both are hard LOL! They time you can then rank you based on how fast you're going through each lap. Passing is difficult and bumping gets you dinged some time, so be careful!
They also have ax throwing now, I think it's like a new addition, but looks fun and also hard. We didn't try it, but maybe we'll head back one day and give it a whirl.
If you're looking for even more of an adrenaline rush, I keep seeing the indoor skydiving place that's being built near Top Golf. Once that opens, be sure to book yourself a dive! ... I don't think I'll be reviewing that one (scaredy cat)!
