Holiday Side Dish: Crispy Brussel Sprouts

When I think about the Holidays, more specifically Christmas dinner, I find it easy to prepare a menu full of turkeys, briskets and ham. But what about the side dishes? So I decided to share here on the blog a few of my favourites that I usually cook at this time of the year.

Starting with my favorite vegetable. Brussel sprouts. These are crispy, savoury and yet sweet and the best, super easy to make.

Ingredients:

  1. Brussel sprouts

  2. Olive Oil

  3. Feta Cheese (also can be substituted with goat cheese)

  4. Lemon Pepper (but you can just use Salt and Pepper as well)

  5. Pomegranate

  6. Optional: Panccetta

Preheat the oven at 420F. Cut the brussel sprouts in half and season with olive oil and Lemon pepper seasoning. Mix well and put it in the oven for 20min turning it around ever 5 min or so. Sprinkle feta cheese and pomegranate on top. Serve.
