Postpartum Recovery



Before I start this post, I want to say that post party recovery is different for every momma and even each pregnancy. When I had my first baby it wasn't as easy as this time and that's ok too. The reason I decided to share my story is because I believe if I'd have done some things differently the first time around, it would have been much easier.


My recovery this second time around has been sooooo much quicker and easier and I could sit here and say it’s all because I’m so healthy and blá-blá-blá but I’d be lying. The truth is I had a hard pregnancy being nauseous and feeling so sick all the time, I was very limited in regards to the things I could eat and towards the end (which by the way felt like I had been pregnant for 2 years) I just didn’t really care much anymore. I didn’t eat properly and hadn’t felt like exercising for a loooong time.


So I can only think that I’ve recovered much easier this time around because:

  1. This is my second baby.

  2. My mindset really helped me, with everything going on (COVID) and not having my mom here this time to help, I just feel like I don’t have any other option but to recover fast.

  3. The amazing support system I have from family and friends even from a distance.

  4. And last but not least, because of products that I used that were REALLY helpful. All from Frida Mom. I could go on and on about them and how amazing I think they are and how I think everyone should use them lol. Seriously life changing.
