1 dose of Tequila (I used Jose Cuervo special silver)
1/2 dose of Cointreau (or any other “Triple Sec”)
2 tbs of lime juice
ice cubes
Hymalayan pink salt
Mix of sugar and water to your taste
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add tequila, lime juice, sugar, water and orange liqueur. Cover and shake until mixed and chilled. I'd say it takes about 30 seconds, which is the time the shaker mists up. Place lime juice on a plate and press the rim of a glass into it, then repeat the same process of a plate with Hymalyan salt to rim the edge. Strain margarita into the glass.
